Philadelphia – Eagles attack line Jason Peters Coach Doug Peterson announced Friday that he has been selected for foot surgery and will miss the rest of the season.
The Eagles (3-8-1) will have their 12th different attack line structure in 13 weeks Nate Herbick Replacing Peters with proper custody.
“It was an injury we know of and he really fought it,” Peterson said of the nine-time Pro Bowl selector. “He wanted to be out with his team for the rest of the season and now he’s a little worse if the injury continues.”
According to ESPN’s Adam Schifter, the 38 – year – old Peters moved from left to right guard for Philadelphia’s Week 12 game against Seahorse Seahawk. Peters has started there every one of the last two weeks, but only played 58% of photos on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers as a result of injury.
Rookie Quarterback Jalan Hertz New Orleans will make its first start against the top defense of the Saints and behind the ever-changing offensive front.
Carson Vents Will be backup, Peterson said.
“He treated it like a pro,” Peterson said of Vents. “He’s gone out of training. You see he’s taking delegates with the service team and giving our defense a good look, and he’s done a great job of helping John. He’s been involved in meetings, as I expected.”
