After months and months of waiting, you can now pre-order the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Microsoft’s next gen consoles are not scheduled for release until November 10th, but you can already confirm that one of the new boxes is coming soon here on your doorstep.
Remember, the Xbox Series X costs £ 449 / $ 499, while the slightly less powerful Xbox Series S will return you to 249 / $ 299. There is also the Xbox All-Access program if you want to pay for the console over time instead of an obvious cost. Recent: Pre-orders in the UK and Europe are now starting to go live, while in the US and Canada you can engage from 8am to PT / 11am ET. The Xbox Series seems to be selling much faster than the X Series SI, but we do everything we can to stay on top of all the latest stocks.
If any retailers place an Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S pre-order, we will add them to the page with all the means to launch on November 10th. We will add the next gen Xbox bundles if any are available. At this point it is not possible.
Xbox Series X / S Consoles
An Xbox Series X costs 9,449 / $ 499 – including the Xbox Series X console and the new Xbox wireless controller. Aside from all the cables, the free trial for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate does not include any other extras.
If you want to go for an Xbox Series S instead, it will return you to 9 249 / $ 299. Remember, however, that this is a less powerful version of the next gen console. It still conveniently runs all the upcoming Xbox games, but it does not run its own games in 4K, does not include a disk drive and has a small 512GB NVMe SSD. However, you will get support for 1440p at 120FPS and 4K hike, as well as the same rating and variable update rate features as the Series X.
If you want to sacrifice those extra features, you save a significant change on the console. Of course it’s worth it if you do not play on 4K TV or worry too much about the extra performance benefits. Both consoles are also available for purchase on a monthly basis through the Xbox All Access Financial Plan. This package includes your favorite Xbox console and the 24 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If you do not want to receive the full amount at once, you can also use the Xbox All Access Finance option when purchasing the console from select retailers. With this, you can pay £ 29 / $ 35 per month for an Xbox Series X or £ 21 / $ 25 per month for an Xbox Series S. It includes the two-year Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which gives you the full library of Xbox games with live play and access to online multiplayer. Not a bad deal!

Xbox Series X / S Parts
Along with the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, a number of new parts that are compatible with both consoles have been pre-ordered.
There is nothing much you need here from day one, but you can do it right here if you want to get stuck in an extra controller or grab one of the storage expansion cards.
As for the extra storage, the 1TB internal SSD in the Xbox Series X console should keep you still for a while. The Xbox Series S has a small 512GB SSD, so there is a high risk of filling it up first.
For those who bring your library back to compatible Xbox 360 and Xbox One games, we recommend purchasing a much cheaper external hard drive, which will now give you more space for your money.

Xbox Series X / S Games
Finally, games. What will we play when we get our hands on our Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S? Well, it certainly wouldn’t be hollow infinite. 343 Industries Shooter and Microsoft Big Call Card were set to be the main release title for the console, but that was recently Pushed to 2021. Other first-rate releases such as Fable, State of DK3 and Forza do not create a release window.
If so, what does it leave out? Um, well, not a lot of new games from Battle. How do you feel about the £ 449 / $ 499 price point for pre-ordering the Xbox Series X? Going to pick one more. Or, would you rather pre-order an Xbox Series S and accept a smaller performance win for the lowest performance 249 / $ 299 entry fee?
Maybe, instead, you could consider pre-ordering a PS5? It may be wise to wait and see if Sony’s next gen console is back in stock before making a decision here – especially if you do not have specific loyalty on either side.
