UFC Fighter Colby Govinding aimed LeBron James On Saturday night following Tyrone Woodley’s victory, he called the NBA star a “spineless coward.”

Covington, public supporter President Trump, Had the opportunity to issue a political statement against the “Awakened Athletes” after defeating Woodley in five rounds by the TKO.

According to MMAFighting.com, “I would like to dedicate this fight to all those who responded first, and to all the armies there,” he said. “This world would not be safe without you. You keep us safe, not these awake athletes. I’m not sick of these backboneless cowards like LeBron James.”

Covington shared a similar sentiment on his own Twitter post Saturday night in support of Trump and his bid for re-election.

“Nothing motivates me more than fighting for the people who are fighting for America !!!” Read his tweet. “Thank you to all the brave men and women of law enforcement and the military !!! Thanks for all the love and support @realDonaldTrump !! The quiet majority is ready to make a little noise on November 3rd !!”

Trump himself invited Covington during a post-match interview to congratulate him.

James did not respond to a request for comment on Sunday.
