Here’s what the new episodes of “Succession” are about
Waystar Royco is sold to tech visionary Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård). This event sets a bombshell within the family, causing great fear and division. As the Roy family faces a future in which their cultural and political power has shrunk, a fierce power struggle ensues.
From Succession appeared on HBO in 2019, it is already a huge success. Not only is it seen en masse, but the reactions are almost exclusively positive. For example, more than 162,000 IMDb voters decided the series deserved a solid 8.8 and therefore could rank among HBO Max’s top titles. The formula for success is also not tinkered with for the fourth season. For example, all of the regular cast are returning, including Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, and Matthew Macfadyen, and direction is once again in the hands of Jesse Armstrong.
