Google Store marks the company’s birthday in some countries

Google first merged on September 4, 1998, but the company long marked the occasion on September 27. Like Last year, Google Stores around the world Celebrates 22nd Birthday With Discounts And Various Offers

Update: For Europe, the Google Store offers a 22% Birthday discount on selected items when the promo code GOOGLEBDAY22 is included in the update. These items are excluded (In the UK): Pixel 4A, Pixel Butts, Pixelbook Go, and Nest Awareness. This applies to:

Nest Hub Max, Nest WiFi, Chromecast, Nest Hub, Nest Mini, Stadia Premiere Edition, Nest Product, Nest Game IQ, Nest Game Exterior, Nest Game Interior

Similar agreements are in place in Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Norway, the Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, Germany, France, Finland, Denmark, Belgium and Austria. Offer ends September 11, 2020 at 11:59 PM BST. It does not seem to be available in Portugal.


In Australia, “You can get 22% Google Store credit when you buy a Nest WiFi, Nest Mini, Nest Hub Max, Nest Hub, Chrome Cost, Chrome Ultra or Google Home.” Prices for these smart home products will not change otherwise, and this deal will be available until September 28, 2020 at 11:59 a.m. AEST.

Customers will receive an email notifying you that Google Store Credit will be added to their account approximately 3 weeks from the date of order shipment.

This offer is also available in Japan. Meanwhile, the following Asian countries see a direct discount:

  • In South Korea, Nest Hub and Home Mini get 20% off
  • In Singapore, Nest Mini, Nest WiFi, Nest Hub, Chrome Cost 22% off
  • In Taiwan, a 22% discount applies to Nest Mini and Chromecast

No offers available on the following Asia Pacific Google stores: Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines and Thailand.

These contracts are not usually available in the United States and are on its own This summer is the month of deals.
