We’ve thought about it several times this year: 2020 is stranger than a Black mirrorepisode. With all the Zoom weddings, conspiracy theory fools, and the President of the United States almost causing wars on Twitter, we need Black Mirror a little less. The creators of the hit series got that too, so they left us alone for a while. To close this year with us, they are offering a special, but in a different form than you are used to.

In an ad on Netflix’s Twitter account, we read: “2020 – even the creators of Black Mirror couldn’t have come up with this year.” But – “They have something to add.” Then the title appears: “Death to 2020”. “A Netflix Original Comedy event that we always record – and you’ll never forget. The year you really don’t want to remember.”

In the teaser, we see that a large star cast has signed on for the special: in the credits are global stars such as Samuel L. Jackson, Lisa Kudrow, Hugh Grant, Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick) and Leslie Jones ( Saturday Night Live) and Joe Keery (Steve from Stranger Things).
Releasedatum Black Mirror: Dead until 2020
Netflix has yet to announce a release date, and we don’t yet know what the special will look like (possibly a Zoom reunion gone wrong?). It will undoubtedly be something creative. We will keep you informed!
