At first glance, Zack Snyder’s Justice League ratings seem particularly impressive. No less than 1.8 million households watched the film on the first weekend it went online.
Samba TV has revealed that 1.8 million households in the United States watched the Snyder Cut on the first weekend. This makes the four-hour movie more popular than the first episode of the Marvel series. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Who is watching it?
Samba TV director Jeffrey Silverman reports that his company defines a viewer as someone who has watched at least five minutes of a movie or TV series. Interestingly, of the 1.8 million people who watched the movie, only 1/3 of the people saw it at all.
Of course, that’s not to say that two-thirds of viewers didn’t finish the movie at all. The film lasts no less than four hours, which is a very long time to watch all at once. A lot of people may have watched the film in multiple sessions.
Justice League by Zack Snyder tells the story of the film as Zack Snyder actually envisioned it, and shows how the heroes of Earth come together in a battle against Steppenwolf.
