This weather situation will not change on Monday and rain and sleet could fall in the south. Especially in the hills of Limburg there is a risk of snow. Snow can disappear quickly because the daytime temperatures are too hot.
On Tuesday, it will still be cloudy, but the showers will have disappeared. Due to the persistent northeast wind, the wind remains strong.
The wind decreases during the week
On Wednesday there will be more room for the sun and it can freeze slightly, especially in the morning. Locally, the temperature can reach -2 or -3 degrees. During the day, this temperature exceeds the freezing point, and the wind from the previous days gradually decreases in strength.
There may be winter showers on Thursday. Inland, there is a risk of local snow. The temperature is around 2 or 3 degrees. On Friday, there will still be rain or snow showers over the country with a local risk of slipping. During the day, most of the showers have subsided and space is again created for the sun.
The weekends remain dry with sun from time to time. Although it can freeze at night and in the morning, midday temperatures are about 2 degrees above zero. Locally dense fog may occur.
