On Thursday 25 February (7:30 p.m.) VVD Goeree-Overflakkee, VVD Voorne and VVD Hoeksche Waard will jointly organize a digital iCafé on agriculture and innovation in agriculture. Guests are Helma Lodders (VVD Member of Parliament and Agriculture Spokesperson) and Mirjam Nelisse (VVD Zuid-Holland Member of Parliament and candidate for Parliament). In addition, two entrepreneurs will explain to you an innovative development in their sector.

Agriculture is very much in the news. Food supply, sustainability, nitrogen. But also the huge exports, the fact that the sector is an innovative leader in the world and the continuous search for balance in terms of space and environment. In short: enough subjects to immerse yourself in a political iCafé.

Helma Lodders and Mirjam Nelisse take us into the world of agriculture: the opportunities, the challenges, but also the innovations taking place in the sector. Two entrepreneurs will also give a brief introduction to an innovation they are working with. Ruud Dukker (Voorne-Putten) is a tomato grower and takes us into innovation in the horticultural sales channel. Jan Jacob Dogterom (Goeree-Overflakkee) and Arie Pieter van den Hoek (Hoeksche Waard) work together to find sustainable solutions for their farm and the environment. Jan Jacob will explain this innovative project. During this evening there is also plenty of room for questions and discussions.

Do you want to be present, ask a question or just listen? Then register via www.vvdgo.nl/icafe.
