Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeety will face the NFL on Sunday.
The first round of the 2020 draft selection consisted of five drops against LA chargers, including two in the latter half of the first half, which would have helped the Broncos to get points on the board before the break.
“Sometimes drops happen,” Judy said. “It happened so many times today. It’s unacceptable.”
GD’s five drops matched his total release from the first 15 weeks of the season. The college star, who left Alabama, replied “never” when asked if he ever had a performance like this, with only two touchdowns compared to 10 drops.
“I want to create plays,” Judy said. “No one stopped me. I was open. I have to finish. I beat myself up today. ”
Fran்கois, who coached 13-0 at the break, struggled again in the second half trying to come back late in the fourth quarter. After tying the score 16-16 with three minutes to go, Denver left the field goal with less than a minute left on the clock. The Broncos’ three-point loss comes just two months after they returned to Denver to beat the Chargers 31-30 in a Nov. 1 game in Week 8.
Judy’s drops late in the second quarter could have helped the Broncos go 2-0 against the Chargers. But despite the negativity for the young player’s poor performance, Broncos coach Vic Fangio believes GT can learn from this forward move.
“He has to come back from that,” Fangio said. “It could be a defining moment in his life. He should come back, train for a better week, catch a few balls, and then show up on Sundays throwing balls at him, and he’s going to catch it.”
GD and the Broncos will get a chance again this season. Denver hosts the Las Vegas Riders next week at the end of its season.
