“We approach every game as if it’s the biggest and this is no exception now. We’ve played against the Netherlands in important games, like the 2019 World Cup final and during the Olympics. It will be an incredibly tough, very demanding game,” the 34-year-old American striker told a pre-season press conference.
Morgan is well prepared for the meeting with Orange. ,,We have the game of the Netherlands against Portugal (win 1-0, red). Seen. They still have the same players as four years ago, which makes them a good team. Their defenders are very physical and aggressive, so I’m going to have to work.”
“At Our Best”
,,We will have to be at our best to beat the Netherlands,” continues Morgan. ,,It will be a great game.” After the first round of the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, the Netherlands and the United States together lead Group E. America recorded a 3-0 victory over Vietnam in the first round.
Morgan has been the big eye-catcher for Team USA for years. The striker, who is currently under contract with San Diego Wave, has already played 208 international matches for the national team. It was accurate 121 times.
