President Donald Trump told the FBI on Sunday. A caravan of his supporters The bus belonging to Joe Biden’s campaign was harassed.
“In my opinion, these patriots did nothing wrong.” Trump said in a tweet. “Instead, the FBI & Justice should investigate terrorists, anarchists and insurgents of Antiba who are burning down our Democratic-run cities and hurting our people!”
The president also mentioned the incident during rallies earlier on Sunday. Video of the incident on Friday showed Trump supporters circling the Biden campaign bus with their vehicles in Texas. The video showed two cars colliding, and the Biden campaign claimed that the bus was trying to run off the road when pro-Trump trucks were traveling from San Antonio to Austin.
“Our people, they – you know they were protecting his bus yesterday,” Trump told supporters in Michigan. “Because they’re fine. So his bus – they had hundreds of cars, Trump, Trump, Trump and the American flag. You see Trump and the American flag. Do you ever notice when you look at the other side – I’m not even look the other way.”
Biden responded Sunday afternoon during an event in Pennsylvania, and the president tweeted Congratulations to the supporters involved.
“Everyone, we don’t know who we are,” Biden said. “We are so much better than this. We are so much better than this. It doesn’t matter who we are.”
Merchants and car parades popularized by contagious social distance needs have become a regular feature of the campaign trail, especially accepted by Trump supporters, but in recent weeks they have run against early voting and other campaign activities, urging voters to call the police.
