Netflix really has a huge hit with the superhero series it is appearing now.
Nielsen began monitoring Amazon Prime Video and Netflix ratings in the United States in August. It turned out that Umbrella Academy no less than 3 billion minutes were broadcast in the week it was put online. That’s an insane amount: no less than 57 centuries of streaming in a week. And that’s three times more than the second most popular series, Shameless, which aired just over a billion minutes.

Umbrella Academy
Umbrella Academy has yet to receive a third season from Netflix. Remarkably, it remains to be seen for now whether the series will continue. We always assume that: the show is far too popular to stop. But after more than a month, we were expecting something new from Netflix.

Incidentally, Nielsen is also working on including streaming services such as Hulu and Disney + in its preview. So, going forward, there are still some interesting things to report about streamers’ viewing numbers!
