The Netherlands will host Scotland in the two-match ODI Series starting May 19 at Hazelaarweg Stadium in Rotterdam.
The Netherlands played their last ODI match against Zimbabwe in June 2019. They beat Zimbabwe in both matches by seven and three wickets respectively.
The Dutch national team also faced Nepal and Malaysia in the T20I Tri-Series in April. Against Nepal in the series final, the Netherlands obtained 238 strokes, the first bowling. In response, the Netherlands partially knocked out 96. Karan KC led the bowling attack with three wickets to his name, while Kamal Singh and Sandeep Lamishan each hit two wickets.
Scotland have not played an international series since December 2019. Due to the pandemic they have not received adequate training in the past year. This will be their first international streak in 17 months.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this series is played out in a biologically safe bubble and no spectators are allowed to enter the stadium.
