Sleep with Pokemon, log your trip, and more. You can read about it in this edition of the best Android apps and games of the week. Number 30 again, so you read along?
Read on after the announcement.
1. Pokémon Sleep
Whether you’ve read the entire TV series or just know Pikachu’s recognizable sound, just about everyone knows a thing or two about Pokémon. We are of course familiar with the AR app, Pokémon Go, which appeared in the Google Play Store in 2016, but did you know that even a daily task like sleeping can be done with a Pokémon theme.
The new Pokémon Sleep app lets you catch Pokémon while you sleep. While you are resting, the app analyzes your sleep. When you wake up in the morning, Pokémon have appeared with a similar sleep pattern. This way you know if you’re sleeping hard like Pikachu or super deep like Snorlax. The app also gives you tips to improve your sleep. Good night!
2. Polar Steps
It’s summer and maybe that’s why you’re going on vacation. Are you planning to be away for a long time or to take a big trip? Then you keep the house informed with Polarsteps. Upload photos and videos with a message about your trip or plan your trip along different points of interest.
The app is also known to record travel stats like distance traveled, number of countries you’ve visited and more. Travelers who’ve visited a place also leave reviews, so you know where you really want to go or where you really don’t want to go.
3. Lost in play
In the new mobile game Lost in Play, you play as a sibling who must find their way home together. They live in a world with fantastic monsters and creatures that challenge you through puzzles. The game is narrative and looks like an interactive cartoon.
The game is very reminiscent Gravity Falls, a cartoon series with similar setting and characters. Do you like mystery, puzzles and imagination? Then be sure to check out Lost in Play. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store via the button below.

4. More experimental garden
The supermarket chain PLUS has added a new feature to its shopping application, namely the living lab. In this online environment, app developers can share new features with users. These users can then also rate the features and leave points of attention.
In the latest version of the PLUS app, you can find the Living Lab via the three dots in the navigation bar. From there, you can learn about new features and leave feedback yourself. Good luck!
