Texans fake an injury to save a time

USA Today

The Texans can find themselves in hot water with the league after engaging in some bad sports to get themselves a free time in the Thanksgiving win against the Lions.

With eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Texans realized they had 12 players on the field. Two players, A.J. Moore And Charles Omenihu, Began to run off the field to avoid fines. Then Omenihu, realizing that they were now going to be abbreviated, jumped to the ground and pretended he was injured. One officer called the injury deadline, and the Texans were able to get the right staff on the field before the next game. Texans were not fined and did not waste time.

Omenihu is apparently a fake; He laughed and was sidelined without receiving medical treatment.

This is a blatant violation of NFL rules. Steelers in 2012 and Emmanuel Sanders Fined Saunders sent a memo to all 32 teams in the league in 2013 after an injury forgery, recalling fake injuries as “fines, suspensions or draft selections for coaches, players and clubs”.

If the league does not want to say that every team can cheat and escape, the NFL must beat Texans and Omenihu.
