Walmart has temporarily closed its Sula Vista Super Center location, allowing the building to be completely clean and tidy, a Walmart spokesman confirmed to NBC7.
875 E. H St. The Sula Vista Super Center, located in, will close at 2pm on Sunday and reopen at 7am on Tuesday.
The closure is part of a plan launched by a company to allow cleaners to clean and sanitize the building and allow staff time to reopen the shelves to reopen the store.
Walmart sent the following report:
“Everything we do is for the well-being of our partners and clients, with the guidance of disease control centers (CDCs) and health professionals. When the store reopens on Tuesday, we will continue to conduct health screens and temperature testing, and provide masks and gloves to all partners..
These protocols, in addition to the comprehensive measures we take during epidemics, will help protect our partners and customers, including the installation of sneeze guards on records, temperature checks and mandatory masking of associates, the placement of social remote identities and the implementation of emergencies. Leave the policy to inaccessible or uncomfortable associates. In addition, with the help of our health ambassadors, we continue to urge customers to wear safety face masks while inside the building.
“We will continue to work with selected and local health officials to adjust how we serve the community and keep the health and safety of our clients and partners in mind.”
