San Holo shares new single ‘You’ve Changed, I’ve Changed’

San Holo has teamed up with his friend and fellow artist / producer Chet Porter for his new independent and alternative single “You’ve Changed, I’ve Changed”. On this last single before the release of San’s next album ‘bb u ok?’ the duo take a new indie-rock direction in which they reflect on similar personal experiences.

“In a relationship, you get closer and closer over time, but over time people change, feelings change, and sometimes you break up in the hopes that you can get back to where you are now,” Sander says. . “Writing this song with Chet was very natural and the song almost wrote itself. We were both just coming out of similar situations, so this song really resonated with both of us ”.

“If you’ve ever listened to my music, you know I love to immerse my voice in delay and distortion,” says Chet. “San wanted to bring out my voice more clearly and more, so the first verse sounds super intimate but the chorus is full of energy.”

“The lyrics are pretty literal, about how people change and come apart,” he adds. “I know San went through something like this back then. I’m sure anyone can relate to it, whether it’s a partner, a friend, a family member… whatever. Things change and sometimes you wish you could go back to where you are today ”.

The new album features no less than 20 songs in which San is seen going his own way and crossing into the alternative indie world using analog instruments and collaborations with rock band American Football and Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo.
