Brandi Redmond of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Dallas” shares her grief and gratitude following the car crash that killed her mother-in-law Jill Mary Redmond, and left her 9-year-old daughter Brinkley unharmed.
“My husbands beautiful mom is with our Savior, my nephews said it better … so I ask you to keep my family in your prayers during this difficult time,” she wrote on Instagram Saturday with several photos. “I ask you to lift my sweet Brinkley up so she can continue to heal. God protect her heart and eyes from this grief,” he added. “I am so thankful for his life. It may be the most grateful and painful I have ever felt.”
Redmond shared a heartfelt note from his sister, who remembered their mother with a family photo.
“This is our mother, Jill Mary Redmond. We talked to her every day. Talking about her in the past is beyond words. We lost her in a tragic car accident a few hours ago. Jesus, thank you for saving our daughter-in-law who was in the car with her, ”wrote the three sisters.
“To know our mother is to love her. She was a bright light to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She loved him so deeply. She felt so deeply. She loved Jesus with all her heart. Her world was a family. “And he left us doing what he loved so much – he took care of his big kids. We are in shock, we are experiencing indescribable pain.”
“In our mother’s honor, if you have a living parent, tell them how much you love and appreciate them. Hug your loved ones tight tonight forever. We love you. Shine bright and spread love and kindness.”
