Pete Carroll was stunned by the Giants’ defensive dominance

After his 236th game as head coach of the NFL, Pete Carroll was confused.

Legally confused. At the expense of answers. He looks like a cartoon character attacked by a sledgehammer.

The Giants defense continued to improve, playing their best game of the season against NFL MVP candidate Russell Wilson and keeping Caroline’s high-scoring offense untouched until the fourth quarter.

The result? Seattle won 17-12 against Seahawks NFC East to be number one.

“It’s an unnatural feeling that we didn’t put any dots on the board,” Carol said. “I had to look at the picture to find out what the heck happened and why it was like that. It’s not like that. We ‘ve never seen anyone play like that. So it was so hard.”

Wilson passed just 216 yards with an interception and a lost stumble, running for his life in five sacks and other pressures. As Wilson turned in circles behind the line of Scrimmage and threw a prayer, P.J.

“I’m not going to lie: the team had a different fraud and a different juice today,” said defenseman Jabril Peppers. “We know our football brand – hard, hard nose, if we’ve played physical football, we can shock a lot of people.”

Williams shocks a lot of people.

After years of relying on pressures, knockdowns and emergencies to prove he was a pass racer, Williams became a game destroyer. He sealed his Pro Bowl resume Sunday with a career-high of 2.5 sacks, raising his season total to a professional high of 8.5 with four games.

Suddenly, General Manager Dave Kettleman’s decision to mark Williams on a one – year, $ 16 million contract – an outrageous number given in his past production – did not seem so foolish.

“This project is fun, the guys around me help me play better, the computer helps me play better,” Williams said. “There are a lot of things that help players achieve their potential, and I think it all comes together.”

The most impressive part is that the defense dominates with the injured linebacker troopers relying on four players: Cam Brown, Carter Cochlear, Day Groder and Nico Llos.

“It’s consistent,” Peppers said. “We don’t care who’s out. If you’re not going to play up to the standard, guys, you’re not going to be out.”
