UTRECHT / MONTFOORT – National coach Vera Pauw de Vianen and goalkeeper coach Jan-Willem van Ede de Montfoort have extended their contract with the Irish Football Association until the summer of 2023. The two regional partners are in charge of the Irish footballers since the fall of 2019.
Pauw and Van Ede’s contract will last until the 2023 World Cup, which takes place in Australia and New Zealand. The goal was initially to bring Ireland to the European Football Championship in 2022, but it didn’t work.
“I am delighted to continue to play my role in the Republic of Ireland and FAI squad. We have made tremendous progress in our last campaign and there is no reason why we should not. can’t build on that with the grassroots players. We currently have more young players. to come, “Pauw said via the Irish federation.
