OSS – The winners of the Osse Sportawards will be announced on January 25 at an online show. All the champions are also honored in a fun way. The show starts at 8 p.m., lasts approximately 30 minutes and can be viewed via Sport Expertise Centrum’s YouTube channel and via digital TV.
The program consists of a number of surprise elements. The show takes place from an open-air studio. Among other things, attention is paid to a family of Osse sportsmen and the bizarre sports year 2020 is also highlighted with portraits and stories of Osse athletes. Some athletes took little or no action and even had to adjust or stop their training. Others have seen a championship or promotion suddenly disappear or the Olympics postponed for a year. Oddly enough, there were also athletes who got more publicity.
This year there will be an Osse Sport Award for the most attractive performance of 2020. The categories sportsman, sportswoman, sportsman and sports team have been combined once for this purpose. Just like last year, the Sports Accord Stimulation Prize will be awarded. The prize is awarded to the organization that has made the best use of the incentive budget received. New this year is the Regenboogaward, an initiative of Regenboogstad Oss, COC Noordoost Brabant and Sport Expertise Center. The award is given to an initiative by a sports provider to improve the sports climate and respect for people in the LGBTI + community.
