Objective Lingo gets a second round

ITV has ordered a second Lingo series for Objective Media Group Entertainment.

Host Adil Ray OBE returns to chair over 60×60 episodes of this fast-paced pun

Lingo sees three teams of participants compete against each other to fill in the blanks and find words. Over a series of rounds, the prize money goes up, but so does the risk – you don’t find the right word and your opponent has a chance to jump in and take the money. At the end of the game, the last surviving spouse can double their prize money, but if they can’t find the words, they can’t get anything home.

And OMG Entertainment’s Ben Sheppard and Ed de Berg added, “We are over the moon because viewers are enjoying the show and there is so much love for the lingo! We can’t wait to start manufacturing more. The question is: do you know your language ?! “

ITV Editor-in-Chief Lara Akijo said: “I am delighted to offer viewers more opportunities to star alongside this great show.

The Lingo format has over 500 episodes in the United States and has aired in France and the Netherlands for almost three decades.

Lingo has been reassigned by Katie Raucliffe, Chief Entertainment of ITV, and Lara Akigo, Editor-in-Chief of ITV. Lingo is an IDTV (All3Media) and Talpa TV format distributed by All3Media International. The series was produced by OMG Entertainment outside of Objective Media Group North’s Manchester base, for ITV. The executive producers are Andrew Cartmel, Ed de Berg and Ben Sheppard for OMG Entertainment and Pam Kavanagh for OMG North. Target Media Group is All3Media.
