But Netflix and Streamz also managed to unbox this week with some promising new titles. More than enough to savor this weekend.
Series
The Marvel series WandaVision was a bull’s eye for that Disney +. Week after week, it was the most broadcast series in the world. Something tells us that with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be no different. As the title of the series indicates, with this series we dive deeper into the world of two other superheroes: Sam Wilson or The Falcon and Bucky Barnes.
The first shot of the series is quite surprising: The Falcon ironing his shirt. But soon the action breaks out and we see The Falcon – who now works for the Air Force – in action in a spectacular scene that lasts over ten minutes. After his long stay in Wakanda, we see Bucky once again working on himself with his therapist. When the Flag Smashers criminal gang appears, it looks like their paths will cross again.
Netflix hopes for another success from Álex Pina with the new series Red sky. The brain behind a series of The money heist in The pier has completed a new series about three prostitutes who rebel against their pimp. The series has all the makings to become a new Netflix hit. Sure Star (Disney +) be the eight seasons of Country added. It is therefore the first time that the eighth and final season of Homeland will be broadcast in our country with Dutch subtitles. During this final season, Carrie Matthinson did not fully recover from her imprisonment when Saul again asks her on a mission.
Also on Star be the three seasons of Quantico added. This series focuses on a diverse group of recruits who arrive at the FBI Academy in Quantico to be trained. They’re the best, brightest, and most controlled newbies, so no one would expect any of them to be suspected of plotting the biggest attack on New York City since September 11, 2001.
It’s also a great week for fans of The blacklist, because fans can now seventh season of The blacklist (2019-2020) on Netflix find. At the start of this season, Red finds himself in hostile territory after being kidnapped by Katarina Rostova. Liz and the Special Forces will do their best to find him quickly.
Also on Netflix are next to their own series Young Wallander now also the four Seasons of Wallander (2008-2016). New Movies
Dutch romcom So what is love – from now on Netflix – may date from 2019, but it is certainly new for us Belgians. Cato is idealistic, ambitious, and unimpressed with the Old Boys Network. Until she meets her colleague Gijs, who represents everything Cato hates.
From the new range of Streamz + we like to endow Far shot on, a romantic comedy about Fred Flarsky (Seth Rogen), a brash journalist. To overcome his depression, he tries to win the heart of his childhood sweetheart, Charlotte Field (Charlize Theron). Charlotte was once his nanny, but has since grown into one of the most powerful women in the world.

All the comedy when it comes to new movies. The best we could find this week is an older movie: Next to (2004) by Alexander Payne is new on Star (Disney +). In this beautiful road movie, Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church play two friends who go out on a wine tour of the Santa Ynez Valley in California before one of them gets married.
We are secretly curious Amelia (2009), also new on Star (Disney +). The film which tells the story of the missing flying pioneer Amelia Earhart (played by Hillary Swank) was unknown to us until now and sparked our interest by winning the “Movie You Wanted to Love, But Just Couldn’t” award from Alliance of Women Journalists.

We think the most interesting title among documentaries Operation Varsity Blues: the college admissions scandal sure Netflix. This documentary sheds light on somewhat less high-profile scandals, but in the United States, which received a lot of publicity involving famous people who bought access and performed well at prestigious universities for their children. Through reenactments, this documentary examines the brains behind the sensational scam.
