New name and location for Kuijpers Personal Training; “Moved from a side job to a serious business”

Kuijpers Personal Training officially opens the doors of its new location on Dr. Huub van Doorneweg 36a in Deurne and organizes an open day. Along with the move, the Personal Training, Small Group and CrossFit Gym is also introducing its new name: IMFORCE.

Over the past five years, a lot has changed in the life of owner Piet Kuijpers. “It all started when I was still working at Defense and also working as a personal trainer in the evenings and at weekends. It became Kuijpers Personal Training in the Felix Timmermansstraat,” explains Piet.

Grand entrance
It’s gotten a little tight there lately for the contractor’s plans. “The lease contract expired and there was no room for expansion. So I started asking around in my network and that’s how I ended up at the location on Doorneweg’s Dr. Hub. It was actually intended to expand further in about three years, but this new place fits so well with the ideas I have for my business that I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. In addition to beautiful halls for personal training and training in small groups, there is a large hall,” explains Kuijpers.

Enthusiastic
After a few months of odd jobs, Kuijpers and his team moved into their new premises at the beginning of April. Piet Kuijpers is just as satisfied with the new site as his customers: “We tried it out with our members for a few weeks. Fortunately, they are just as enthusiastic as we are, which is always exciting.

CrossFit Box
Kuijpers also opens an official CrossFit box on the new site: “The very first in Deurne, I’m really proud of it.” CrossFit is a form of fitness that combines weightlifting, athletics, and gymnastics into one workout. “He came from the United States. You work on both strength and condition. Super versatile and suitable for everyone. Unlike other trainings, you don’t work with a fixed schedule, but it’s always a surprise for the participants what exactly is going to happen,” explains Piet Kuijpers.

‘Explode together!’
IMFORCE van Kuijpers has certified trainers for CrossFitbox. “A former colleague introduced me to CrossFit a few years ago. I went to experience it myself and became very excited. Besides the fact that CrossFit is really suitable for everyone, I think it’s “It’s fantastic that there’s so much focus on the group feeling. Explode together! I really want to create that feeling in our CrossFit box,” says Piet enthusiastically.

New name
The entrepreneur operated under the name Kuijpers Personal Training, but just like the old space, his business has also outgrown the old name. “When I was still self-employed and registered with the Chamber of Commerce, there was nothing wrong with ‘Kuijpers Personal Training’. In the meantime, I am no longer alone and have staff, so the move was also the perfect time to think about a new company name,” says Kuijpers.

The company’s renewed look was tackled by a branding company who came up with two proposals. Piet quickly made a choice: “I really liked an idea because it also contains a piece of my history. A bear claw has been incorporated into the new IMFORCE logo, which references my past as a Charlie ‘Bears’ Company soldier. The new name IMFORCE is a combination of ‘Improve’ and ‘Force’. Two elements that come up frequently in the training we provide.

Milestone
Kuijpers still has a lot of plans for the future, but for now he wants to take advantage of this new stage first. “Entrepreneurs, like athletes, can’t peak all the time,” he laughs. “Our basis is and remains that we work on health in a personal way. Individually and in small groups. With attention to sport, nutrition and state of mind. We build from there. My team and I are really proud of what is now. We want our new location on Dr. Huub van Doorneweg 36a in Deurne so are happy to show it to everyone. So come take a look!”

The IMFORCE Open Day will take place on Saturday April 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Dr. Huub van Doorneweg 36a in Deurne. There is a bouncy castle for children and Spijs van Gijs will provide a drink during the inauguration.
