It was a rumor in 2019 and a new set photo from MARVELS third Spider-Man movie meet Tom holland gives fans something to speculate again. Because is the introduction of the Miles Morales character (an alternate web slinger) being announced here?
In Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) referred to actor Aaron Davis’ street criminal Donald glover during an interrogation scene already categorically to the “presence” of Morales when he says that he “does not want weapons in the streets of his neighborhood, because his little nephew lives there”.
Filming is currently underway in Atlanta and a fan in attendance managed to snap a photo of a truck with the FEAST logo on it (Food, emergency, aid, shelter and training) and sprayed graffiti.
In Far from home (2019) we saw that Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) wanted to help the less fortunate. In a recent video game she works for FEAST and if Miles Morales is not directly linked to the organization he is a big fan of graffiti so the bottom half of the truck may betray her presence …
Multiversum
Morales first appeared as an animation two years ago (voiced by Shameik moore) in Into the Spider-Verse and since this multiverse will now also come to life in the live-action world, the above makes sense, as MARVEL expects.
We’ll have to wait until the end of the year to get a response, as the release is slated for next December.
