“Lack of trust in science is a problem for healthcare innovation”

In February 2015, I started as an editor at Skipr. At that time, Zorgvisie was still the main competitor. Since 2019, we have been producing these two titles and Qruxx, our value-driven care platform, with a single publisher. I always write with great interest about the organization of Dutch healthcare, from real estate and finance to the interests of patients and healthcare employees. In addition, I am now an associate editor. I am proud to play a central role in the well-oiled machine that is our editorial team.

With the emphasis on proper care, questions arise about the proven effectiveness of medications and treatments. Answering these questions is complicated, but becomes even more so with a public opinion that leaves little room for doubt. Sarah Kleijnen and Wim Goettsch of the National Institute of Health noticed this.
