ELST – Tennis player Stephanie Visscher from Elst reached the doubles final of the ITF tournament in Monastir with Eva Vedder. In the semifinals, Gozal Ainitdinoa (Kazakhstan) and Dasha Ivanova (United States) retired.
Visscher and Verder won the first set 6-2. After that, the opponents threw in the towel.
The couple Emma Dais (United States) and Erika Sema (Japan), second, awaited the semi-finals. Visscher and Vedder were ranked first in Tunisia.
The Dutch duo were still too strong for Fransesca Dell’Edera and Daniele Vismane in the quarter-finals. The Italo-Latvian pair were beaten 2-0 in sets by Visscher and Vedder: 6-1, 6-4.

Visscher was eliminated in singles in the second round. against Finland’s Anastasia Kulikova, she lost in straight sets with 6-1 and 6-4.
