Young Sweden – Young Colombia 0-0
Mayckel Lahdo Young started in the starting line-up against Scotland, but against his Colombian counterparts, coach Daniel Backstrom wanted to see eleven new names. Friday
Australia – Ecuador 3-1
Matthew Ryan has won the first of two exhibition games with Australia against Ecuador. The captain made five saves to lead the Socceroos to a 3-1 win. The 79-times international from Australia plays another exhibition game against Ecuador on Tuesday.
Japan – Uruguay 1-1
In Tokyo, Yukinari Sugawara drew 1-1 against the Uruguayan national team. The right-back made his Japanese national team debut on Friday afternoon and was allowed to finish almost the entire match. On Tuesday, the right-back could make his third appearance for The Land of the Rising Sun. The team will then play against Colombia in the next match of the friendly Grin Cup.

Gibraltar – Greece 0-3
With Pantelis Hatzidiakos in the starting line-up, Greece started the first match of the European Championship qualification series. The Greeks are in the same group as the Netherlands. Hatzidiakos and his teammates kept a clean sheet and Portugal won 0-3. Vangelis Pavlitis also did the minutes. Young Scotland – Young Sweden 2-3
Twenty-year-old Mäkel Lahto played against his Scottish counterparts with Young Sweden on Thursday evening. Prior to the meeting, Lahto played twice for the Swedish U21 team. In both games, the winger was good for a goal and an assist. The Thursday-evening exhibition game was a 2-3 win for the Swedes. Lahto played 69 minutes.
