HERPEN – Every season, many young girls and boys meet in a football club. To show interested boys and girls if football is a fun sport for them, Herpinia is organizing a special Orange festival at Wilgendaal Sports Park on Saturday 24 April. The Orange Festival is open to all children from 4 to 12 years old. Children who are not yet members of Herpinia or KNVB can participate in this activity for free.

Herpinia is the first football association in the municipality of Oss to organize an Orange festival. In collaboration with the VIP tennis club and Stichting Dunes Games, Herpinia wishes to create a “Vital Association Herpen”. The aim is to ensure that all residents of Herpen and the surrounding area, young and old, get more exercise and sport. The organization of the Orange Festival fits perfectly into this starting point.

Herpinia is also working with KNVB, the Dutch football association, to organize this free Orange festival. Oranje players and OranjeLeeuwinnen players support these festivals, as they also started out as a young girl or boy in one of the local amateur associations. They recognize the importance of lots of sports and exercise at a young age and encourage many young children to play association football.

Registration for the activity is very easy and therefore possible for all interested children. The event can be found on the KNVB platform: www.knvb.nl/oranjefestival/herpinia/301. There you will find the possibility to register.
