Game 5: Toledo at the Michigan Recap

Michigan is no doubt ready for its next challenge. That test was to come against NC State tonight, but instead the Chrysler Center hosted a final tune-up game.

The Wolverines have put together the best 40-minute length of the regular season at both ends of the court, but we’ve now seen UM play 205 minutes this season against teams with a significant lack of talent. Enough is enough.

Michigan MAC faced the best it could offer, but it was time to equalize, and there were no toledos or bowling greens Table. The Wolverines have not faced 75 opponents since this year, but 19 of the remaining 20 games are against first 75 teams, and tougher tests are coming soon Sunday.

Michigan played a great game on Wednesday night, but it really told us it was time to move on to the next phase of the season.
