Florida Gators star Gionde Johnson has collapsed on court and is in a dangerous but stable condition

Florida basketball star Gionde Johnson The school said it collapsed early in the game against rival Florida State and is in a dangerous but stable condition at the Tallahassee Memorial.

The gators ended Saturday time when ESPNU broadcasters said the cameras had been cut off from the court and Johnson had collapsed. He was given emergency medical treatment and taken to the locker room.

Jr. Forward Johnson, from Norfolk, Virginia, averages 19.7 ppg this season and is considered an NBA prospect.

Johnson is known for his versatility and floor leadership, and is considered the leading candidate for this year’s best player. He scored 14 points in 54% of shots from the ground and 7.1 reps as a sophomore.
