B and W write this in a note to city council. Construction between Wendel, Veldstraat and Molenstraat streets was interrupted for a long time as priority was given to other plans in the village. Nevertheless, the zoning plan was already established. As a result, a number of inquiries have to be repeated. This includes flora and fauna.

The neighborhood will include a mix of senior citizens’ homes, patio homes, and starter homes. The plan is to start building construction roads before the construction holidays. Negotiations are underway with utility companies when they can start building facilities. This has already been pushed back due to the crowds.

The district is being built in three phases. The northern part consists of 3 detached houses and 12 houses for two people. The developer will work out the plans in more detail. If the municipality agrees, the land will be sold. Construction is expected to start at the end of this year.

In the central part there will be 6 micro-houses, 4 starter houses, 13 houses for the elderly and 8 houses with patio. Here is the “knarrenhof” with a large garden in the heart. The patio and the starter houses are built around this. A non-commercial developer has now been found for this.

In the third phase, 7 individual houses of the most luxurious category will be built in the southern part. In this southern part, it will be possible to build your own house. The municipality takes care of the allocation of the land.
