BILTHOVEN / UTRECHT – Dutch hockey players won the match with Germany in the FIH Pro League. National coach Alyson Annan’s wives were 2-1 too strong.
After twelve minutes of hockey, Germany took the lead in Amstelveen. Lisa Altenburg scored the first goal.
Orange’s third quarter has started well. Frédérique Matla was able to put the 1-1 on the scoreboard quite quickly – after some preparatory work by SCHC-er Xan de Waard. Soon after, Ireen van den Assem completed the comeback. She worked on 2-1.

On Sunday, the Netherlands will play again in the FIH Pro League against Germany. This match can be followed live from 2 p.m. in Namur and Rugnummer on Radio M Utrecht. On May 18 and 19, there will be played against New Zealand. Orange are the league leaders after nine games.

Among the women, Pien Dicke, Kyra Fortuin, Laurien Leurink, Caia van Maasakker, Xan de Waard and Ginella Zerbo from Bilthovense SCHC will be present.
Kampong’s Malou Pheninckx is also part of the selection of league coach Alyson Annan, as well as Eva de Goede from Zeist and goalkeeper Josine Koning from Amersfoort.
