Do you think about the future of Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht?

HENDRIK-IDO-CRAFT – What will Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht look like in the future? How do we organize our living environment, the space around us? And how to manage sometimes conflicting interests? The answers to these questions come in the environmental vision for Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, the strategic vision of the physical living environment.

From Friday February 5, the municipality will be happy to discuss it during Environmental Vision Week with residents, social organizations and partners. Two more times of participation will follow in April and May. In December, the city council adopts an environmental vision.

Environmental Vision Week program

From Friday February 5 to Saturday February 13 is held the week of the environmental vision. All information is on www.hi-ambacht.nl/omgevingsvisie.

• Neighborhood Pricker Online
  During this week, residents and other stakeholders can use the Wijkprikker online participation platform to let us know what they are proud of when they think of Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht and what they find important for a living. and live in our town. They can also choose a theme on a digital map, pin a place on the map, and write about the opportunity or challenge they see there.
• Digital visiting moments
  If you have any questions or would like to be helped with the Wijkprikker, you can attend the digital meeting times on Monday February 8 (12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.) and Thursday February 11 (7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.).

• Looking for creativity!
  Coloring and drawing competition
  There is a coloring and drawing competition for children. Children up to 8 years old can color a coloring page with known craft locations. Older children can draw how they see the future of Craft. Coloring and drawing pictures can be downloaded from www.hi-ambacht.nl/omgevingsvisie. You can hand over the letterbox at the entrance to the town hall until March 1 or digitally via environment [email protected]
  Photograph a beautiful profession
  Anyone who wants to contribute creatively can enter the photo contest on social media. Post self-made photos of favorite places in the municipality with the hashtags #mooiAmbacht #omgevingvisieHIA and who knows, your photo will be included in the environmental vision!

Environmental law and vision
The law on the environment will apply in the Netherlands from January 1, 2022. This new law brings together 26 laws including 400 regulations for land use planning, housing, mobility, environment, nature, l water and health. The municipality of Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht has started preparations for the introduction of the environmental law. The environmental vision is one of the “instruments” of the new environmental law. From 2022, the environmental vision will serve as a framework for evaluating new plans, developments, initiatives and issues in outdoor space.
