The national picture of college football will begin to gain more clarity on Saturday as the Big Ten 2020 season debuts. No. 5 is expected to compete for a spot in the Ohio State College football playoffs, but what about 8th Pen State? The Nitani Lions face a deserving opponent in their opening game as they travel to face an Indiana team coming in season 8-5. Ben State was not the only team from the state of Pennsylvania on Saturday.
No. 3 Notre Dame is playing a crucial game for the Irish in a 4-0 fight in Pittsburgh and should start to show some more dominance if they are going to block Ohio State in the election.
In all, there are four games between the 19 ranked teams and the ranked opponents on Saturday – one each from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 and AAC. On a busy day of college football all of this starts at noon ET and continues until 12 midnight, taking BYU the state of Texas on a night time affair.
There’s a lot to cover up in between those games. CBS Sports will be there every step of the way to keep you updated with the latest scores, highlights and storylines throughout the day. East at all times
