Clifford is back – but the internet is not throwing him a bone.
Ashamed to say thank you, Paramount dropped the creepy trailer for the upcoming “Clifford the Big Red Dog” movie Direct-action adaptation Dear Kids Book Series.
“This holiday season, we thank pets for their year-round love,” the trailer begins. “But next year, get ready to love something even bigger.”
Paramount – Sonic Hedgehog is the same studio behind the infamous Dream-fuel design – Crimson Puppy ripped online for new CGI look.
“Hole up. Does he paint a dog red without the CGI or his permission? ”One Twitter shrunk.
“Why haven’t these movie studios ever learned, photo-realistic adaptations have no way to go?” Chimed inside.
The plot of the film follows the adventures of Emily Elizabeth, portrayed by Darby Camp, who, after meeting a witch – played by John Cleese – first gives him a massive hunt, Wrap report.
The first “Clifford” book by Norman Friedwell exploded in 1963, and has since become a staple in elementary school libraries.
Clifford does not have an official release date, but it is expected to hit theaters in 2021 from time to time.
