The opening sound of the PS5 is not being teased by anyone other than Burger King.
In the tweet below, the named King opens a takeout bag and you can hear a noise when a blue light shines across the King’s famous face. He then goes on to reveal the 10/15 date, which he points out Something Announced this Thursday.
Considering the PlayStation Twitter account tweet, all the signs indicate that this is the starting sound PS5.

This is … definitely a way to tease the opening sound for your upcoming console, however Eagle Ear fans will recognize this sound from this future gaming showcase from this June, as you can see from the tweet below. We’ve never seen anything like the PS5’s UI or homepage yet because Sony has so far focused on machine expressions like Teraflops and 4K capabilities.

Burger King did not reveal the opening sound of the PS5 on my 2020 bingo card. Will Raja seize power from Mark Cherni and Jim Ryan and present the next deep dive into Sony’s next gen console? We can only trust.
It’s been less than a month since the launch of the PS5, at least in the United States. Released in the US on November 12 and in the UK and Europe on November 19, PS5, Demons Souls, Sockboy: A Big Adventure, and Spider-Man: Miles Morals.
It supports all but 11 titles in its backward compatibility process. Last week, Sony released a short list of topics It will not run on PS5 from day one, But thankfully there are no “blockbusters” on the list.
