Biggest rabbit in the world stolen, the British owner offers more than 1000 euros | Instagram

The world’s largest rabbit was stolen from its home in Worcestershire, UK, over the weekend. Her owner Annette Edwards is inconsolable and has offered a reward of 1000 pounds (1150 euros) for her return.

“It’s a very sad day,” said owner Edwards. The giant rabbit Darius received star status in 2010 when it was entered in the Guinness Book of Records with its no less than 1.29 meters.

Police say Darius, 10, was kidnapped from his stay in the Stoulton Estate garden on Saturday evening. Edwards called on Twitter to “please bring back the beast soon”. According to her, the rabbit is not very valuable anymore, because it is already too old to continue to reproduce.

Edwards, 69, has already produced more than a hundred giant rabbits as a breeder. The record for the largest rabbit has been in his possession since 2008, zo meldt The Daily Mail.
