David Beckham is working hard at Inter Miami FC to strengthen the squad. Along with the arrival of Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets, that seems to be the case SPORT expect two more top players to enter.
Ramos in America
The former footballer is said to be busy with Jordi Alba. The full-back left Barcelona last month on a free transfer and has been looking for a new challenge ever since. Behind the scenes, he is now said to be in long-term talks with Inter Miami over a lucrative contract.
However, the management of the American club are said to be working on another big name. It looks like Sergio Ramos will make the move to the United States as well. For the past two seasons, he was under contract with Paris Saint-Germain but the French let him go at the end of last year.
Ramos would welcome interest from Sevilla but it looks like he’s saying goodbye to his career in Europe and moving to MLS. He meets his former teammate Messi there. The Argentinian has also been playing at Paris Saint-Germain for the past two years, while the two players have met annually in the past in meetings between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Disappointing performance from Inter Miami
Inter Miami can use reinforcements, as the season is not going well at all. The club is currently bottom of the American league and is playing disappointingly. Both Messi and Busquets are expected to make their debuts in three weeks. Remains to be seen with the other reinforcements for the moment.
Is Jordi Alba still good enough for Europe’s top?
