A benchmark test released on Tuesday shows the largest performance gap between Apple-powered Macs M1 chip And Windows on ARM systems running the latest 64-bit x86 applications via the official emulator.

Maxon’s Cinebench results in single- and multi-core scores for M1 landing at 1496 and 6838, respectively, surpassing Surface Pro X’s 371 and 1604.
Moving to the open source video transcoding tool handbrake, the MacBook Air finished transcoding 12 minutes of 4K video to 1080p H.265 file six times faster than the surface.
It should be noted that Microsoft’s 64-bit x86 prototype is still in beta. However, even with an integrated software development effort, Windows at ARM does not have the hardware chops to catch Apple’s MacOS and M1 integration.
