A 25-year-old New York man was arrested on Saturday July 8 after the unidentified assailant on a scooter fatally shot an 87-year-old man and injured three others in a series of random attacks in the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens.

Chilling footage, posted by Hodgetwins on Twitter, captured the moment a gunman on a scooter attacked the 87 year old pedestrian in Queens fatally struck on Saturday morning. The incident was one of five shootings committed by the shooter in New York.
Man on scooter arrested after fatally shooting 87-year-old pedestrian
According to multiple reports, the incident happened around 11:10 a.m. Saturday, when the 25-year-old NYC suspect on a scooter shot a 21-year-old man in the shoulder in Brooklyn. The unidentified victim was taken to hospital and is expected to survive.
Seventeen minutes after the 25-year-old from Brooklyn was injured, the shooter shot and killed the 87-year-old in Queens. New York police reported the shooter was apprehended two hours after the first shooting. The suspect was reportedly identified after an image of the attacker was extracted from video and sent to officers’ phones across the city.
