The 2023 Women’s World Cup in New Zealand and Australia hasn’t even started yet, but the award for best publicity has already been awarded as far as we’re concerned. The French telecommunications company Orange has concocted a superb clip, where nothing is what it seems…
Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Griezmann and other tops of the “Blues” chain the movements of swirling passes, long hard shots, clean headers and very beautiful free kicks in advertising. But did they really do those football actions? By using the most advanced computer techniques, the level of the French women’s football team is seen in a whole new light.
The clip is a free kick. People react enthusiastically to images online. Watch the crazy publicity on Twitter and judge for yourself:

After the 5-0 victory in the farewell game against Belgium, the Dutch women’s team seems ready for the final tournament Down Under. The Orange Lionesses will play their first game against Portugal on July 23, the United States are the opponent on July 27 and the Netherlands will complete the group stage on August 1 against Vietnam. If all goes as planned, the Netherlands will be in the final in Sydney on August 20.
