The starting lineup for the South Carolina football season opener against Tennessee this Saturday is almost set.
Camcox head coach Will Massamp announced during his call-up show on Thursday night that Kevin Harris’ run-back would get a game-against start against the Wolves.
As both players are listed as co-starters in this week’s depth rankings, Sophomore Redshirt is in a one-to-one match with Sophomore Deshan Fenwick.
A 5-foot-10, 225-pounder from Hinesville, Co., Harris played in six games last season and went 21 times for 179 yards, averaging 8.5-yards, with four touchdowns.
Musharraf said that when Harris gets a start, Fenwick and junior college replacement Jacquandre White will also play in the first half and will get more caries in the back doing better.
Mushamb also announced the starting players of two special teams.
Bunt will handle return duties with defender Jamie Robinson Shi Smith, along with Best Kickoff Returner and Dakarian Joiner “Off” Returner.
With those announcements, most of Carolina’s starting lineup is now known with the right deal, with one of the few exceptions.
Jaylan Nichols, Jackie Moore or Vershon Lee will start on the right and junior Dylan Vonnam on the left.
Sophomore Zahmer Brown, who plays primarily as a DIME linebacker on the field in overcoming situations, ends a game with injury. R.J. Roderick, a starter in defense, could slide to that spot in the game if even that level is used.
Camcocks and Wolves are set for football at 7:30 pm on the SEC network at Williams-Price Stadium.
