These Android smartphones have received a (security) update – week 6

Various updates were also rolled out in week 6 of 2021. We have seen all kinds of security fixes appear, but for some devices also the Android 11 update.

Equally important, however, are security updates. These patches keep bad luck like adware, malware, ransomware in polar in front of the door. These updates are rolled out year round. In this overview, we compile a weekly overview of security updates. Is your device in the list below, but you haven’t received anything yet? No problem. Updating all instances of a device typically takes a few days to several weeks.

Your device is not listed? That can. Manufacturers release updates throughout the year, so maybe your device will be there next time. Even if your smartphone is on the list, you may still need to be patient. It usually takes a few days to a week for an Android security update to deploy to all devices.
