Sonora, CA – Dulomne Public Health today identified 33 new cases. At this point health officials say everyone seems to be in solitude and the case is continuing. In these cases 4 women and 4 men under the age of 20, 3 women and 1 man in the 20s, 2 women and 1 man in the 30s, a man in the 40s, 1 man and 1 woman in the 50s, 3 men in the 60s, and one man in his 70s .
21 previously isolated cases were released from solitary confinement today. There are 258 active cases, 525 recovered and a total of 806 cases.

Maribosa, a district with a population about three times smaller than Duolum County (17,795 to 52,351), reported 4 new cases on Friday and 4 active cases when 7 new cases were reported on Saturday. Their active COVID-19 cases rose to 15, which is related to the outbreak we reported here in May. According to their health officials, “Maribosa is in the yellow layer and we are waiting for renewal from the state. We expect the orange layer to move and we will share this information as much as we can.
As of mid-October, Stanislas, the state health department, which has a population of 562,303, was able to bring its active cases to the 200 limit, where Duolumne County is 10 times smaller. Stanislas’ active cases have increased to 1,379 since October, at a total of 20,370 this year. Only 11% of Stanislas’ COVID-19 infections were in people over the age of 65, but 78% of COVID-19 deaths were in 65 people and the mortality rate for those ages was more than 16.8%. No one under the age of 25 has died in Stanislas County, with 12 deaths occurring between the ages of 25 and 44, 79 deaths or 19% between the ages of 45 and 64. Early 2020 statistical data for Stanislaus reports by the end of October were 8,318 births and a total of 4,891 deaths in the county. 432 births and 498 deaths have been described so far for duolumin.
