2020 Back-12 Football Schedule: League leaders approve inclusion of non-conceptual games

Pack-12 Leaders and Principals approved a Modifying their initial policy The conference for Wednesday 2020 college football season only restricts teams to the schedule. The league’s athletic directors first agreed to the move on Tuesday, which would open the door for schools to play non-consensual games if canceled due to Govt-19.

To obtain approval to face an unopposed opponent, the school must adhere to the Pac-12 test and related protocols and play the game in the Pac-12 school’s own stadium. Also, if a Pack-12 opponent is available by Thursday of Game Week, the conference game must be played instead of the asynchronous opponent.

“Pack-12 is committed to providing our football student-athletes with the flexibility to compete, while at the same time ensuring that health and safety are at our top,” Pack-12 Commissioner Larry Scott said in a statement.

Since returning to the field, five Pac-12 games have already been canceled due to the corona virus. November 7 Start Date and Dec. The games, originally scheduled for November 14, were canceled.

Pack-12 decision makers initially voted for only one conference schedule regardless of the different test standards from conference to conference, but the daily antigen testing did not alleviate some (but certainly all) of them.
